A learning platform

A learning platform for creative practitioners — a curious attitude toward technology is the only criteria to participate.

InterEmbodied brings together interdisciplinary researchers and creative practitioners to explore ideas together — through open research programmes, short courses, and a digital incubation programme for self-directed projects. We start from the premise that meaningful research is grounded in lived experience — of researchers and participants alike — and that the most generative questions live at the intersection of disciplines.

Open to anyone with a curious, creative attitude toward technology — including scholars and practitioners across anthropology, psychology, design, computer science, and the digital humanities, but not limited to them.

01Research

Research programmes.

Our research programmes explore how intelligence, computation, and design shape one another in practice.

EmbodiedIntelligence

Practice-led design research into how intelligence — human, collective, and material — is enacted across bodies, artefacts, and environments, and what that means for the design of computational systems.

Situated Futures

A research programme on imagining and making futures from where we actually stand — using the traces of everyday life as material, and computational intelligence as an instrument for speculation, simulation, and design fiction.

02Short Courses

Learn to apply cutting-edge technology to your creative practice.

Practice-based courses for creative practitioners, each built as a sequence of three modules.

Designing Beyond the User

A practice-based introduction to post-human and relational design — moving from designing for a human user toward designing with the many human and non-human entities, including AI and agentic systems, that any system actually involves.

Agentic Intelligence Online

An introduction to AI agents for designers, creative professionals, and students who are new to them. The course starts with what an agent is and what agency means, follows how people have handed more work to software, and arrives at today’s AI agents. It is a self-paced, interactive online module, with a small game in the terminal where you play the agent.
